VOCES8 – BENEFIT CONCERT
A unique opportunity to hear the world’s most-streamed vocal ensemble, returning to Lachine and Canada after 10 years.
The Grammy-nominated British vocal ensemble VOCES8 is proud to inspire audiences through music and to share the joy of singing. Performing around the world, the group presents a wide-ranging repertoire, both in its a cappella concerts and in collaborations with leading orchestras, conductors, and soloists. Versatility and the celebration of diverse musical expression are at the heart of the ensemble’s performance and educational philosophy—a mission they share both online and in person.

This benefit concert is offered at an exceptionally low price to allow as many people as possible to attend, in keeping with our mission of accessibility.
Those who are able to do so are invited to increase their support:
- by choosing a $100 solidarity ticket, eligible for a tax receipt;
- or by making an additional donation, also eligible for a tax receipt.
How will the proceeds be used?
They will be used, in particular, to:
- To present 30 high-quality classical music concerts, offered free of charge, with a suggested contribution;
- To provide more than 500 hours of free music instruction each year — choir, voice, guitar, piano, and violin — to over 250 young people, in collaboration with Lachine schools, community organizations, and libraries;
- To support the development of sustainable careers in classical music, notably through the Lachine International Vocal Academy, which supports young artists aged 19 to 29 in their professional development.
