Come celebrate Christmas with a warm, festive event presented by Concerts Lachine!
Immerse yourself in the magic of the Holidays with choirs, small ensembles, and soloists from the COVIQ Duff-Court organization, as well as from Martin-Bélanger, Très-Saint-Sacrement, and Paul-Jarry schools, along with members of our Lachine community.
In addition to the choirs, you’ll hear ukulele, guitar, piano, and violin performances by young musicians guided by teachers Camilo Marìn, Jennifer YM Lee, Ivette Burgois, Margaryta Osypchuk, Brigitte Secco, and Patrick Kearney.
These young artists will move you with their talent and their Christmas spirit, while offering beautiful musical discoveries.
Join us for a warm and festive moment, and help us create a brand new Christmas tradition for Lachine.

Biographies
CAMILO MARÍN, CHORALE, UKULÉLÉ, GUITARE
Edwin Camilo Marín Ortiz, a teacher, guitarist, and composer, brings over 14 years of experience to music education and composition. Holding a master’s degree in music composition, he is dedicated to promoting music as a tool for social change through education and artistic creation.
IVETTE BURGOIS, CHORALE
Born in Matanzas, Cuba, she graduated in music from the University of the Arts of Havana (ISA). A conductor of choirs and orchestras, as well as a professor of choral conducting, she has led various professional and amateur choir ensembles. She has presented a range of symphonic and choral works with renowned orchestras in her hometown. Additionally, she has worked in various countries as a choir conductor, leading workshops with amateur choirs and participating in festivals and competitions.
PATRICK KEARNEY, GUITARE
Patrick Kearney, a classical guitarist from Montreal, is known for his remarkable virtuosity and expressive musicality. A prize-winner from a young age, he studied at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, earning the Superior Diploma with highest distinction. He has since built an international career, performing and giving masterclasses across Europe, the United States, Mexico, and Canada. As a soloist, he has appeared with ensembles such as I Musici de Montréal, the Orchestre Philharmonique de l’Îsle, and Ensemble Appassionata. A strong advocate for contemporary music, he has commissioned and premiered several works for guitar. His recordings include Stringendo, Diabolico, Impressions, and Novae. Patrick Kearney teaches at McGill University, Concordia University, and Vanier College.
Margaryta Osypchuk, a Canadian-Ukrainian violinist, is a graduate of McGill University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in performance at the Schulich School of Music. She has performed in Italy, Germany, France, and Brazil as both a soloist and chamber musician. Passionate about musical education, she teaches violin to children, emphasizing curiosity, creativity, and the joy of playing together.BRIGITTE SECCO, CHORALE
Brigitte Secco holds a bachelor’s degree from the Université de Montréal and furthered her studies in Vienna with the Wiener Tänze Quartet. Having devoted many years to accompanying, she remains highly active in the musical community. On December 18, she will perform with the group QW4RTZ at Salle Pauline-Julien, joined by about sixty children.
JENNIFER YM LEE, PIANO
Jennifer YM Lee is the artistic and music director of several ensembles, including the Bach et Baroque Ensemble and the Arc-en-ciel Choir. With over twenty-five years of experience, she is currently completing a doctorate in art studies and practice at UQAM while serving as an assistant conductor. Known for her inclusive and human-centered approach, she is dedicated to sharing her passion for music through conducting, pedagogy, and professional training. In September 2025, she offered a traveling choral-conducting training program in the Magdalen Islands alongside Lucie Roy.
