This tasting will be accompanied by commentary from Marc-André Aupin, a passionate sommelier and co-owner of the renowned Comptoir St-Jo. The borough council chamber of Lachine, located in the former city hall, is a true heritage gem that combines history and elegance. Built between 1914 and 1916 according to the plans of architect Dalbé Viau from the renowned Viau et Venne firm, this majestic building takes place where the very first city hall of Lachine stood.
Beyond its historical importance, the council chamber transforms for the occasion into a must-visit spot for wine and local gastronomy enthusiasts. It offers a unique experience and a perfect setting for tasting wines and typical bites from Quebec’s terroir in a sumptuous and historically rich environment.
